Shipping
What are the delivery fees?
- All UK orders over £50 receive free shipping. Standard shipping fee for orders below £50 is £4.99.
- For individual shipping inquiries within Europe and further afield, contact us at info@cradledbaby.com .
Can I pick up my order locally?
- Orders can be picked up with no shipping fee in Gateshead. Simply click ‘local pickup’ at checkout, and we’ll let you know when it’s ready.
How long will it take for my package to arrive?
- Orders are delivered with Royal Mail and arrive within 3-5 working days. Add a note with your order if First Class is required. Extra shipping fees will apply.
How are items packaged?
- All orders are wrapped with love in our custom pouches for convenient delivery.
Returns
What’s your return policy?
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. In order to receive a refund, orders must be returned in original packaging. Items must be clean, unworn, with tags attached.
- The buyer is responsible for paying for the return and is responsible to arrange the return. Please email us for return details.
- Sale items are non-refundable.

Do you have a full newborn package?
- We’d love to create a custom newborn package with everything your little one will need – just reach out.
How does your sizing run?
- Most of the brands we stock run on the smaller size. We recommend you size up for layette, for example, a newborn baby would fit into 3M, and a 6-month-old into 9/12M. Most brands run true to size or on the smaller size.
How should I wash my layette/blanket/gift?
- To avoid shrinkage or damage, all our products should be washed on cold or delicate and left laying flat to dry. Avoid hot washes, mixed colours, fabric conditioner, and dryers.
